About Us

Roger Schuldt loved people. He enjoyed being around people and he wanted to help them. We value all of those customers that have been with us for years and did business with Roger (and Carol and in some cases my Grandpa Wilbert). Over the years we have tried to keep 3 things in mind:

1. Create personal relationships with people in order to truly know their needs.
2. Use that knowledge to guide them to get the coverage that will let them sleep at night without breaking their budget.
3. Have a little fun along the way.

As an Independent Agent we offer choice, provide a high level of service and are local to your community.  But what does that really mean? Can’t other agents say the same thing about their business?  Here is how we are different:

Choice: As an independent agent, we offer a choice of multiple insurance carriers, coverages, price, and more. Our main focus is to find the insurance coverages that best suit your financial needs and gives you the best options.  In addition, we know you have a choice when selecting a local independent agent. We want to continue to show how we earn your trust through our regular communication, personal relationships, and community involvement. 

Provide High Level of Service: To us, service means you will know who our staff members are – and not just the usual run of the mill insurance stuff.  You will know about them as people and we want to know the same about you.  So when you call you will know who you are talking to!  We will also be available in the event of a claim.  Being independent we work for you, not the insurance companies.  We will be there to make sure your interests are protected and not forgotten.

Local:  When most people say they are local, they mean they have an office in your community.  While that is true of us, when we say we are local we mean we are a part of your community.  We are involved with local and national charities and organizations that benefit where we live.  We believe that if we put our time and money where it matters the most we all benefit.

My dad believed that if we took care of our customers that they would take care of us.  Sounds simple, but with the way the world has changed, we don’t just do business with every client face to face the way that Wilbert or even Roger and Carol did.  We now also communicate through Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, etc. We know it is important to communicate with our customers using their mechanism of choice. We also know that you rely on us to protect your most valuable treasures, including family, home, cars, and finances. We can provide protection for where you live regardless if you own your houserent your houselive on a farm or live in an area prone to flood. We can protect you if you drive a cara motorcyclea boator an RV. We can protect your businessprovide liquor liability coverage or get you bonded. Finally we can provide coverage for medical bills or provide for your heirs should something happen to you.

Dad has been gone for a while now and it occurred to me the other day that there are now a fair number of our customers that didn’t know him. That struck me as odd because I grew up in a world where everyone knew my dad. Even though this agency has changed, at the end of the day it comes down to taking care of the customer. I know dad would like that.
